Memorial hall honoring the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom
The July Mass Uprising Memorial Museum contains memories, stories and belongings of the great martyrs of July. The great martyrs of July freed the citizens from the oppression, persecution, disappearances, and murders of Hasina's regime for the past fifteen years. They stood with their lives in front of guns to bring back democracy, justice, and rights for the people of the country. They did not care about fear or the future. Autocratic Hasina used all means to violate all rights of citizens. Her forces even killed people by entering their homes. Children's lives were made lifeless in their father's chest by shooting from helicopters. The right to mother's milk was snatched away from children. In this mass uprising, the martyrs sacrificed all their desires and stepped towards martyrdom, and brought down fascist Hasina with their fresh, prosperous lives. The work on martyrs at July Museum will continue.
