Honoring the brave fighters who stood against oppression during the July revolution
The museum contains stories of the wounded heroes of July's resistance and their belongings. Information and evidence of barbaric oppression against them will also be shown here. July came down in this country against the fascism established by killer Hasina. When Hasina's oppression reached the sky, students to people, women, men, hijra, children to elderly stood in rows on the ground. To stop the combined aspirations of the people and keep her throne, she ordered direct shooting at the protesters. People made their bodies shields against bullets. Pieces of bricks and stones, slingshots with the spirit of freedom were their weapons in front of guns. State forces shot at these heroes in such a way that they could not stand firmly on their own soil again. Could not embrace loved ones like before. The oppressors took away colors and light from many people's eyes. To restore people's rights, they accepted blindness. According to government accounts, more than 11,000 people were injured in this mass uprising. The July Memorial Museum is grateful to "Aparajita 24" for all medical information.
